GMR kicked off its journey in 2012, fostering Malta's esports scene by putting on local tournaments. By teaming up with key stakeholders, we dialled up casual LAN parties into competitive esports events. This shift cemented GMR's reputation as more than just an esports organiser.

Over the years, GMR has crafted unforgettable experiences, building a loyal fanbase in Malta. We now organise some of the biggest local events in our industry, including PLAYCON, the Malta ePremier League, and the Malta Cyber Series. We've become a one-stop shop for event production, offering a comprehensive range of services from creative marketing and visuals to designing merchandise and sourcing top-tier equipment rentals. Our team even captures the event's energy with professional photography, videography, and editing.

GMR is constantly innovating to stay ahead of the curve. As the industry evolves, so do we. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant scene and delivering events that leave a lasting impression.


2. What trends or changes are you seeing in your industry that professionals should be paying attention to?

There's no doubt: video games are now a colossal entertainment medium. Launches break records, and collaborations span movies and TV, making gaming part of daily life. Furthermore, esports tournaments are filling stadiums, attracting millions of young online viewers.

This vibrant industry offers an incredibly attractive "playground" for brands to engage a younger audience. I strongly urge more professionals to explore this brilliant industry and discover how they can get involved; it's filled with opportunities for innovation and significant growth.

Our presence at the Pyaza Live event is all about driving growth. We aim to expand our network by establishing key new connections and reinforcing the valuable relationships we've already built.
